Pueblo Community Baby Shower is Fast Approaching!

Feel free to tell everyone you know about the amazing baby shower being hosted at the Health Department! This will be a great way for those expecting, moms, and women looking into pregnancy to bond while being provided information about what will keep them and their children healthy.

A Healthy Pregnancy Begins With You!

There is a great need for education and activities surrounding maternal and child health in Pueblo. 
The Pueblo City-County Health Department is taking charge by hosting Pueblo’s first ever Community Baby Shower on Friday May 20^th, 2011 from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. 


The theme of the shower is  “A Healthy Pregnancy Begins With You” 


This shower targets women who are thinking about becoming pregnant, those who are already pregnant, and mothers to children age newborn to 2 years. 


Those attending the shower will receive information on health tips during pregnancy, how to have a healthy baby, health care resources, and parenting tips for well baby care from health care providers and health care facilities. 


There will be a story time for the children attending the shower, as well as a guest speaker giving a presentation about healthy pregnancies!
